Manganese dioxide Introduction
Manganese dioxide is a kind of inorganic compound, chemical formula is MnO2, black amorphous powder or black rhombic crystal, difficult to dissolve in water, weak acid, weak base, nitric acid, cold sulfuric acid, heated in concentrated hydrochloric acid to produce chlorine gas. For the preparation of manganese salt, also used as an oxidant, rust remover, catalyst.

Natural Manganese Dioxide is mainly used in electrolytic zinc, electrolytic lead, ceramics, chemistry industry, and battery industry, electronical technology, printing and dyeing, photography, ceramics, match, weld, water purification, disinfector, oxidant, catalyst, agriculture and other industries.
Electrolytic manganese dioxide is the excellent depolarizing agent for battery, it has the characteristics of large discharge capacity, strong activity, small volume, long service life etc., so it has become the critical component of the battery cathode mix in today’s alkaline & lithium ion batteries.

- As the oxidizing agent in the fine chemical production process;
- Good decolorizing agent in glass industry;
- Raw material of Fe Mn alloy in steel-making industry;
