What are the primary applications of Agriculture Grade Copper Sulphate?
Agriculture Grade Copper Sulphate is highly effective as a fungicide to control fungi on crops such as lemons and grapes, and to prevent fruit decay. It can also be mixed with lime water to create Bordeaux mixture, used for aquarium sterilization, and acts as a source of trace element copper in aquaculture feed.
How does Feed Grade Copper Sulphate benefit livestock?
As an essential trace element, Feed Grade Copper Sulphate helps prevent and treat conditions such as anemia, weak limbs, bone growth issues, joint swelling, osteoporosis, growth retardation, and heart or gastrointestinal issues. It also enhances disease resistance, improves wool quality in sheep, and exhibits antibiotic-like effects in pigs.
What characterizes Electroplating Grade Copper Sulphate?
Electroplating Grade Copper Sulphate is processed through advanced purification and filtration methods to achieve high purity (CuSO4.5H2O ≥ 98.0%). It is designed specifically to act as the electrolyte in electrolytic refined copper applications.
What packaging options are available for shipping?
Standard packaging includes LDPE-lined HDPE bags in sizes of 25 kgs and 50 kgs. For shipping capacity, we accommodate 27 MTS per 20' FCL without pallets, and 25 MTS per 20' FCL with pallets. Custom packing configurations are also available upon request.
Does Copper Sulphate lose its crystal structure over time?
Yes. When exposed to the open air for prolonged periods, high-purity Copper Sulphate will gradually lose its crystal water content and transition in color from blue to a white powder. Proper sealed storage in LDPE-lined bags helps prevent this.
